Dadasaheb Phalke is considered as the father of Indian Cinema. The 1913 released Raja Harishchandra is the 1st full film produced and directed by him. For the growth and development of Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke is a major reason. He learned direction in London and returned back to India and created the Hindustan Film Company in Mumbai and started his film production.

He made 100+ feature-long and short films. He had more interest in creating Indian films because at that time foreign movies had no reference to Indian culture which motivated him to create Indian-based films. Most of his film journals include History, Mythology, and a lot more.

For this question, I will list my top favorite films that I wish everyone would watch this film.

1. My 1st movie would be Pursuit of Happyness released in 2006. The movie is a motivational movie for someone who wants to succeed in life. The movie is about the life of a salesman struggling to achieve in life with his young son.

2. The second movie would be The Shawshank Redemption released in 1994. The movie describes the friendship and hope of the hero in prison—one of my favorite movies.

3. My other favorite on the list is Forrest Hump. The movie was released in 1994. In this movie, the main character is portrayed as a person with a Low IQ but in his life he will be participating in various life events. In spite of his difficulties in life, he continued to be an optimistic person.

4. Next on the list is Life of Pie. In this movie, a teenage boy shares his journey with a Bengal tiger and creates a bond with a Tiger that is really interesting. In this movie, we can see his faith, hope, and survival.

5. The last one is Seven Pounds. This is one of the different movies on the list. In the past, the hero of the movie took the lives of 7 people in an accident. The guilt carried through his life. so he decided to help seven strangers secretly. His sacrifice for improving the lives of strangers by going to great lengths and the movie is really very emotional.
